Re: Antique Archaeology VW
Can you build a model of the girl, too, for all those watching this post because of her and not because of your model building prowess!!!!

If you watch the show they sometimes also dig up Vespa scooters like this:
I think your right, if you look long enough you do see a scooter in that picture

Re: Antique Archaeology VW
This is the only tv show on at the moment that is worth watching. Two cool dudes, hot girl, awesome cars/motorbikes and amazing discoveries, what a life. I am so looking forward to see how this turns out. Dave I think I may have some rims that may be close to those they use. I'll check my stash. Keep up the awesome work. Happy modelling

Re: Antique Archaeology VW
Dave, It's not a jumper. It's a cardigan.
The cardigan was invented around 1850.

Re: Antique Archaeology VW
Back into this one. Have the roof racks made and painted, front bumper/hurst barwork done but yet to be cleaned up and painted. Have to find some driving lights for it know. Body is done apart from dulling the chrome work, build some mirrors and put some old stuff in the back.
I am so used to gloss paint jobs that its hard to weather this one. The only other weathered cars I have done were my salt flat aluma coupe and the TV repair ute.

Looking good Dave, love the show but am still waiting to see this thing on it. Hope to see it finished in Mackay, that's if I make.
