Looks good to me mate. Bit of a switch isn't it - turning a Pontiac into a Holden! Anyway I reckon it's worked out OK.

Looks the goods to me. When I was in California 18 months ago I went to a "goodguys" car show and there was a GTO there, and the guy had "converted" it to a Monaro, with all the bars, holden badges, HSV airbag, etc. Looked wierd since most here puts chev badges on them

It looks pretty accurate to me Allan, but dont take my word for it, I'm by no means an expert on Holdens.

It could use some side skirts maybe to level off the front and rear bars, but it looks good none the less.

Cheers

don't bother, he can't get any more stock the last time i talked to him.

GTO/HSV is nice, but looks like it had fit issues as you said.

Cool. It's not the slight mis-fit of the bonnet and the front bar that bothers me it's the tiny little wheels and tyres. Good to see another Aussie car build.

Allan, I'm having the same issue with the bonnet for mine. Have removed some of the resin here and there underneath to get it to snug down. Modified the stock GTO front to look like the Monaro CV8 version, still a work in progress at the moment. Yours is looking good with Holdens Morpheous Purple A real one at The All Holden Day last year turned up with that colour .

Cheers Ron

Very nice, one of the few modern Holdens i like. The parts box sells the bonnet. Now if the front & rear bars are no longer made is it wrong to recast & sell them if you have them ? If not i have this conversion kit if someone wants to recast it, it is in primer though.
