'62 Valiant Coupe
Well Adam and Dale kinda convinced me to put this up for all to see, so here it is.......
It's an old fiberglass Valiant body (maybe Jaymar) that I picked up at a swap meet many years ago and I'd painted it up like a pimped out version of my 1:1 Val, but with a Chev chassis and engine (don't ask why  ).
So I decided about a year ago to start again, convert it to 2door and Pro Tour it...... :topgear:
Ingredients:
1 old fiberglass body - paint stripped
1 resin Hemi
1 set Pegasus Vanquish wheels
1 '71 Cuda donor kit (chassis and interior tub)
1 handful of The Parts Box parts.
Mixed with tons of scratch building too.
It's still not finished and has stalled for a while but it wont take much to finish.......... should be done by Oct for the local Expo.
It's actually a bit more progressed than this but I'll probably save those pics for the finished product...
Feel free to ask questions.....there's tons of little mods on this one, too many to mention here without making you guys fall asleep
Thanks for looking

Nice work - this looks great .If that is a jaymar body then you have done an extra special model.

Re: '62 Valiant Coupe
I'm liking this. Where are the valve covers from? Is it just me or is the upper part of the front & rear windows to low, i have 3 orginal issue Revell 62 Val's (2 metalflake bodies) & one of them is the the same as this (non metalflake body).

Re: '62 Valiant Coupe
Thanks guys....it's taken a long time to get this far and yeah these bodies need tons of work to get close to respectable, so I guess thats why I'm having a break from it. I've got two others to build up yet. Thinking of using the Dart kit as a chassis donor should fit better than the Cuda did.
Retro...yeah pity you can't, it'd be good to catch up.....
Yahshu, the valve covers are from The Parts Box, and yeah the windows aren't quite right as is the whole body, I think it's a little narrow.
OMG do you want to sell one of those Revell kits? Been trying to find one for a while now but I think they are made of unobtainium.............That would be my Holy Grail kit!!!

Re: '62 Valiant Coupe
Oops, sorry i have 4, yea yea i know, what a show off & technically i have 5 if you include the phantom sedan delivery which i.ve posted a link to & yes the rear of the roof really does kick up as in the pic but only on one side. Do i want to sell any ? I'll get back to you on that one, but here's one that's up 4 sale, there are others if you can talk the sellers into shipping o/s. Seams like a good candidate for the resin casters out there if someone wants to contact me.

Re: '62 Valiant Coupe
Thanks for the links Yahshu, that's the cheapest one I've seen, may have to consider it if postage is reasonable, and I've seen the R&R delivery on their website....very cool. What's your plans for the delivery......it'd make a cool kustom I recon.
Thanks again guys............guess I'd better get it out and finish it eh?
Cheers
