'62 Valiant Coupe
Got this one finished up today. While waiting for the paint on the Cuda to dry I got motivated and fixed the chrome on the bumpers and fixed a few other paint issues too.
It' took a while to get this thing done...........about two years I recon, but I really like the end result. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride dealing with the scratch built stuff and those windows!!!
For those who haven't seen this in the "Workshop" ....... It's an old Jaymar fiberglass resin body that I've converted to a two door. I used a Revell '71 Cuda chassis, engine and int tub underneath and Pegasus wheels. Lots of trick custom made parts like the windows, the whole engine bay and firewall, the console, the back seat, door handles and even the front grille and emblem. Also used lots of Pro-Tech braided under the bonnet and a custom built Optima battery.......... plenty more but I'd only bore you LOL.
Here it is,
Cheers TJ

When these cars first came out I thought they were most unattractive, but I keep coming back to your build of this model...and it really has the 'look'. Quite a hot car.

Gotta love these old Valiants - looks awesome, it is so hard to do anything with Jaymar bodies , so well done.

Re: '62 Valiant Coupe
Outstanding work!
I have fiddled with those old Jaymar bodies so i know how much effort you must have put in.
I might have to go back and try again
Greta work

Very well done mate, a really neat build. And considering it was a Jaymar body, that really is superb.

Nailed the look perfectly. stance, colour, everthing. Considering it's jaymar origins you polished a turd nicely.
