MINI CUSTOM UTE

What about putting a chook cooker in (a rotary) in then it will be one quick mini, love the look so far

Both the V8's look great,end up putting mini engine in it,got to finish it,thinking of building another as a 6 wheeler tray top may put a V8 in it.

Sound's good , any chance of making a mould and resin bodies of this and/or the 6 wheel body when they are done ? I know a lot of people who would be looking for either option ...

Any photo's of the finished ute ?

never thought about casting it might look into it,no new photos yet.

Well this ( http://excoboard.com/exco/index.php?boardid=13326 ) is one of my other online home's and there are several guy's on here as well as Ausmini ( http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=2 where we have a model section) who would love a Tamiya mini ute body . If it's possible to make a body and floor from your body you'd be able to get a bit of hobby money out of it .

going to dig this one out and strip the very thick paint off it and finish it

Well me just found the body of this one now to find the rest of it too will be striping the paint off it as its to thick and lost a lot of detail,watch this space,now the hunt begins for the other missing bits

It'll be good to see some more of this Allan, I'll be keeping my eye on it.

Jade043,I made it out of two mini car body's and plastic card,would like to finish this one soon

Done a bit of sanding back the colour on this one.

Not using your new sand blaster? I spoze that'd probably strip a lot of the body work too.

will be taking it to mates place in Singleton on wed' will try it out then going to go back to the yellow and black that I was going to do in the first place,been to clod and windy to paint outside.

Look's a bit patchy all the colour is mostly off it have left some of the grey primer on the body the dark green is the plastic colour,will be able to clean it up now with wet/dry.Was going to go back to the green plastic but changed my mind.

Got some work to do there, but should look sweet when you finish it.

mgy125, have cleaned a lot more of it since photo taken this afternoon,will have to use the air eraser in the back of the ute as its a bit thick with primer and rough got to find the rest of the parts for this one too
