'63 Impala Tuff Streeter
Hey there all,
Decided to pack away my Pimpin' Party Van until warmer weather to actually do anything further to it, And I pulled out this '63 Impala to work on in the meantime.
Plans are to Make it A Tough Street, halfway between pro touring and street car. Already found the wheels and the stance, now working on a twin tunnel-ram setup. Will be painted Orange with Silver graphics.
Here's how it will sit (hopefully )
Kit is in the background for those who are interested.
Ideas are welcome.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
How's it going everyone.
Have finally got back into this one after a lengthy delay. (Dad made me help renovate )
Only started back on it Yesterday and have finished the Motor, Cut the rear wheel arches to lower it, and made the reverse Cowl.
Not much else has been put into this, but I think I've got the model bug back.
So yeah, thanks.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
You have to do some thing with that wedge of cheese, wow, towards the front, run a lil curve, down to the hood, kinda like a water slide, curve from the hood, and then thro a lil lip at the other end, just a lil one, I know you know what im talking about, there are a few on here, I like it but, that scoop....

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
I do actually agree with Michael, the Cowl is a bit of a wedge, no style to it. So I have gone back in the room to create another cowl with a bit of a curve in it, just for a bit more shape.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Wow, lookin' killer Adam!!! I do agree though, that reverse hood ruins the look. I think the top of the scoop needs to be flat(like the roof, level on the top, ya know what I mean?) to run with the lines on the car.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Ahhh he's back. Bout time young fella hehe.
Yup that looks MUCH better. Its got some curves to it. The other one looked too boxy and too high.
Hopefully getting back to the bench will jump start your enthusiasm again because I really like your builds.

Re: '63 Impala Tuff Streeter OPINIONS PLEASE
Not an update as such, (will be tomorrow)
But has anyone else that has done this kit had a problem with the boot not sitting properly? Mine just sits up and will only sit down when I push on it.
