XB Falcon Coupe
This XB coupe will be a part of our Forum display at the QMHE in Brisbane.
I built this about 15 years ago and has been
sittin in the bottom of the cupboard going to waste.
it will be crashed into the wall.
this is how I do damage.

Re: XB Falcon Coupe
Looks cool Shoey. Is this resin or a modified body?

Re: XB Falcon Coupe
Thanks Tezza, This was built from scratch. I then molded it and made the four door from it.

Re: XB Falcon Coupe
Looks great so far, could you elaborate a little on your method? So far it looks like you copy the part with aluminium foil (burnishing), then pour glue on the inside of the part so it holds its shape?

Kind of spot on there Dude, I use resin.
I also leave the foil on the part as it sticks real good.
once painted you can scratch the paint off to simulate metal.
Re: XB Falcon Coupe

Re: XB Falcon Coupe
Looks friggen' unreal Shoey!! Love it. Obviously, it's a Ford because a Holden would never have enough top end power to get loose and hit the wall!

It probably had a bad oil leak that got onto the tyres!
Looking sweet Shoey! Maybe an oil trail before the crash site will provide some extra realism?
