38 Chevy Pick-up

Had to buy this one its a 1938 Chevy Pick-up truck ,You have to use the Revell (85-7202) 41 Chevy pick-up for chassis, in line six engine or V8 if you want too,you can build it stock or Rod it even the newer wheels look OK under it.One thing with it the front wind screen needs to be open up a bit ? Y/N going to use sunvisor from the kit will BMF grill too.

Ya me have to say it been a while since me finished anything me wont start this one untill me finish one,trouble is me get someting new and get very side track by it,so starting tomorrow me going to look at finish one may be two.

Nice one Allan, yea looks almost like it's had a chop with the windscreen like that.

That's a cool one mopar68,started to file open the top of the windscreen almost got it done,may go with stock wheels too.

Drag this one out again to see what I can do with it, Got a cool idea for it down in the weeds on a late model chevy pick up truck chassis V6 engine,   cut the running boards down going to put tray on the back,   colour will be a flat colour with semi gloss clear  removed molded in door handles got some chrome ones for it

working on the tray for it.

Working slowly on this one, got the edge on the tray, also working on rear of the chassis for the tray to fit, found front bumper bar for it no rear one. Oh grey lumps on the rear of the bar is blu tac.

This is gonna be a really nice truck, but may I suggest You raise the A-pillars just a tad to give the body more correct lines? Say, maybe 1/16" or so....

Ya chromecop the A pillars is wrong, but with the cab been resin, it would be hard for me to fix it,   I did open the front windscreen a bit.

For those who may not know

This body was moulded off AMTs Orange Blossom Special hence the chopped top and altered proportions
It came with a 37 style grille

Thank's 70cudatj, thinking on paint the spokes on the rims a metallic colour.

Some colour on the cab chrome silver.

Now that's a kit AMT need to re-pop.

Zenrat, front fenders are going to be bright orange. Got colour idea out of a magazine.
