Thunderbird pro stock
this is a mothel that i was working at the same time with the Firebird......
i applied a few decals........
i worked wit the front........ i applied carbon fiber.......
i detailed the back wing........
this the power plant that i will use.....

This color is from House of Colors Kustom paint. This color change from copper to green.

wow thats a nice paintjob! looking awesome so far mate! hows the quality of those Gibson engines? Is there a lot of cleanup to do on them?

Not much to clean. The cuality and the detail are great. This engine brings everithing. The only thing is you need to use sanding paper and a flat surfece to level the engine block. I will post more pics of the engine out of the bag...

Cool looking paint. You will love the Gibson engine they are well cast and look very nice when together.

Nice paint.
Slowly - While being more detailed Gibson engines are more work than a styrene kit engine and i've had a few pinholes & minor flash to clean up (but nothing major). Biggest gripe with them is that the extractors are often moulded with the backs flat.
However, we can always build our own out of tube, rod, solder etc can't we.
