Barn Find GT40
My first Barn Find!!
A mate gave me this one after a clean up - Its complete apart from the back window which is no problem & the exhaust which is
I had one years ago & was disappointed with the wheels so I might do something about that or I might just leave it as a real barn find
From memory it was a Mark2 but I can't remember the brand of kit
Might bring back memories for someone

Re: Barn Find GT40
I agree with Paul, leave it as is, if you want to build a GT 40 surely they are not that hard to find.

Re: Barn Find GT40
It would have been originally and IMC kit (Industromotive Corp).
Their molds were later taken over by a succession of companies, notably the Union brand.
It was a highly detailed kit with some questionable build issues.
If you were patient, it yielded an excellent model for it's time

I agree, don't touch it. Build a dio with shed/barn. Job done. Nothing replicates realism better than real life.

Re: Barn Find GT40
That is a real barn find eh?
Hmmm......... to leave as is or to restore.............I wouldn't be able to help myself, I'd go the resto too.
It's just crying out to put some nice engine detail on it.
