This one is great. The more I look at it the more I like it. The models in the cabinets are brilliant.

Fan smeggin tastic! Are you sure your not ShawnS's lost twin brother or something ...your attention to detail is almost if not the same as his. This is mind blowing. LOVE it !
Re: My Shed down the back
Thanks Bazooka, while I can claim to actually have a twin brother, I'm not ShawnS's brother and I don't have anywhere the talent he has, his stuff is master class I'm just a bit of a novice still.baZOOKa wrote: Are you sure your not ShawnS's lost twin brother or something ...your attention to detail is almost if not the same as his.
I haven't done much on the diorama lately, but thanks to a kind donation from Dpride I have a bunch of bits to paint and add to it before it goes to the SAPMA model Expo in October. I'll get some more shots taken soon and post an update when time permits.
Thanks again to all for the kind comments.

Re: My Shed down the back
Hi Antwon, im about to start a new Diorama, going to do a shed and use a similar layout to this one so I can do indoor and outdoor photo's, the big question is, what have you used for the corrugated tin? I have seen proper metal stuff at a hobby shop but not sure if the scale looked correct, on my last one I just used corrugated cardboard from my local newsagents, but only looks good from one side.

Re: My Shed down the back
Howdy Morrie, I actually bought that stuff from a Perth hobby shop called Stanbridges when I was there on business a number of years ago. I remember it being 1/22nd scale and a staff member told me it was made in Hobart....heck I'll look it up for you....................................................I found an offcut that still has the barcode on it. Here we go
Go to Stanbridges.com and search for Code: 12854. MES CORRUGATED ROOF 1/22. Make: MCCANNS. $3.95 a sheet. Looks like they still have it in stock as well.
Good luck..............hope this helps. AJ.

Re: My Shed down the back
No worries Morrie, one thing I forgot was to tell you how big they are.
The sheets are 150mm (6") X 265mm (10 & 1/2"). Good luck with the build.
Keep us up to date.

Re: My Shed down the back
That is a simply awespome old garage or tinshed!
Makes my old one look like the amateurish effort it is.
What can I say but,

Re: My Shed down the back
Hey thanks Carps,
I've been adding a few bits and pieces over the past year or so, but mainly photographing in it. I'm very pleased with how it came out and I'm humbled by all the kind comments you guys have posted, they mean a lot to me.
Here's another shot with my latest build.
Like all of these sort of things it's a constant WIP, I keep finding bits to add & have had a number of items donated by mates so it is actually a community build of sorts.
Cheers
