Rusty FB Holden
This one is the Cavalier 61 EK
I had plans on building my brothers old FB with Jelly bean mags and light blue paint.
after studying this kit up close I changed my mind.
The grille and door handles suffered from the melting tyres thing,
you can still see the black that I couldn't clean
I removed the 1/12 scale tail lights and instantly thought this needs rust.
I used the chassis from the AMT 51 Chevy Bel Air.
colour will be pink with a white flash

Re: Rusty FB Holden
Not the EK,..... you mongrel !!!!!!! Looks pretty damn good though. I miss my EK. Are you using the "glass" mine got damaged by one of my precious offspring. (PM me) It is a shame this kit has some flaws. I wanted to build a replica of my old yella beast .... maybe one day. You'll have to stick a 161 in the engine bay and a HR front end under the front with disc brakes...

What! No, I don't believe it Shoey using someone else's resin body. What's next Tubman becoming a man and owning a Ford.

Re: Rusty FB Holden
Hey Rocket, at least I'm loyal, stick to my one brand not like a certain Ford boy that has a Chev sign in his model room. Ford is the 4 letter F word in our house. Anyway, why would I want to buy a car trailer ....... To go pick the Ford up when it dies for no apparent reason. At the moment I don't have a mechanic on speed dial but would need to if I did what you suggestRocket wrote:What! No, I don't believe it Shoey using someone else's resin body. Oh yeah, hate you too Shoey, no point entering anything in modified class this year is there?
Nah,looking good dude, can't wait to see this done, hang on, it's finished already isn't it?

Re: Rusty FB Holden
Thanks for your comments guys,
Hey Rocket, I was sick of wrecking my own stuff.
and besides I don't have to wreck a Ford,
because thats how they come from the factory!
No Tubbs it's not finished yet. still more panel damage before
it gets a coat of paint. will be done for Mackay!
