Ford Ute
Another one I finished Friday.
This an AMT kit. I did a RH drive conversion.
But Fred, you say, are you insane? That is obviously a Chevy. It even has a bow tie on the front.
Well, yes and no.
The body is from the AMT USA1 Monster truck but I used the chassis from that to build the Evil Twin Buick.
But I had a spare set of Monogram F250 running gear which with a little bit of razor saw magic was persuaded to fit under the Chev.
Oh, and a Buick rear axle as i'd used the Monogram 9".
And with the F250 chassis comes this nice little injected 460 cube donk.

Re: Ford Ute
Nice Fred, the weathering in the back is well executed, as well as the rest of the build, great job.

Re: Ford Ute
Thanks all.
DSF - I was going to blow over light coats of very thin acrylic to dirty it up but I got short of time before Tumut and I know from past experience that if I rush weathering I put it on too heavy and it runs and then I have to clean it off and start again so I left it.
I'll dirty it up later when i've got a batch ready to weather all in one go.
