Crazy work mate. I'm a metalworker by trade and I get a real kick out of seeing models built with metal rather than plastic.
I know you won't, but it would look awesome all polished up and left as is.
10/10 and it's not even finished yet!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys , TJ, I got about 8 more resins and a couple kit conversions to build on hand with a handfull more resin bodies that I still wanna get, so maybe by the end of it all my soldering wont look so shite and I'll clean it up and clear it , as is. But as it wont be this one, heres some paint on the nearly rolling frame

That fabrication bar has "BEEN RAISED!". We will all need to stand on a crate when we build from now on, just to get near it. Top job Brett.

That is awesome work on the frame it add's way more detail to the car than if it was plastic. How long has it taken to build the frame up? I've got a couple of funny cars to build in the future wouldn't mind havin a go at building the frame up like that for some of them. Will have to practice first can see my self stuffing it up badly haha

Jade, about a week in it, stopping to take pics all the time and write posts up etc I'm gonna have a go at a flopper frame one day, should be easier in some ways ie no suspension etc

been suffering in more ways than one lately, a dose of the cant be ................ and I cut up some firewood and took my right arm out of action for the last four days ( just chronic pain in shoulder and arm due to inflammation etc). Anyways a little progress four link arms (still to be trimmed to length), with the same hiem joint type setup the front struts have and the wheelie bars

Brilliant job Brett, love that diff assembly.

Cheers guys, got some little nuts and bolts so half the diff is now bolted together (much easier than using pins that kept falling out). But I did some paint and decal work today. I'd had some blemishes that I didn't like in the paint so I scuffed it back and re- coated it, heres what it looked like a couple hours later

then after a quick polish

then I stared the decaling process




It'll get a few days off now but then I'll re-clear and see if where I need to blend them in. Also gotta try and get the name on there

Those decals really look great over the black. Yeah, bit of blending, lots of clear, love that hood decal the most.
