Re: '63 Custom Vette
It's Sunday evening so it's update time.
Fixed the metallic issue by wet sanding it all down with 1500 and laid down a lighter coat. Came out great, let it bake off in the sun today and got the first clear on it.
Also got the chassis and the front end parts painted too.

Got the clear on this so it can sit for a couple of weeks while I'm outta town then it should be ready to polish. These are just mock up shots to see how she'll look all together.

Re: '63 Custom Vette
Well it's been a few weeks due to work getting in the way but it pays the bills......
The paints now polished, the BMF is on and the tail light bezels are in, not a great deal of progress but hey it's getting there.
Just deciding whether to BMF or Alclad the door handles....?
Cheers for now...

Re: '63 Custom Vette
UPDATE. Well this is slowly getting there, so close I can smell it...............no wait that's the fresh paint smell. Anyway, I've kinda stalled a little on this but it's going to stay on the bench none the less. Just the big step of getting the chassis into body and then the plumbing and wiring .........
Donk;
Tub;
Pointy end;
Arse end;
Maybe, just maybe I'll get this wrapped up soon.
