PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
Gday guys, I am new and this is my first post, I have been a member of the Scale Auto forum but thought I would like to get involved in a forum here in Aust. Anyway my work in progress is the AMT 70 Super Bee pro streeter. Basically bodywise I have hinged and opened up the boot and scratchbuilt the reinforcement out of some styrene. And It's primered ready for paint. The motor is a Ross Gibson 16 plug hemi which is a great kit in itself. The braid and fittings are from detailmaster as are the plug wires. I removed the lenco box and installed the kit supplied box with scratchbuilt linkages as it's more streetable. I had to also modify the K frame to suit the deep pan. The fuel cell is a Parts Box item with detailmaster fittings and scratchbuilt straps. Thanks for looking

That's cool mate - I've got a 1:1 '74 Charger painted GMH Super Mint green, so anything goes in my town...

Re: PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
Awesome stuff.. cant wait to see this finished.. you got some good skills Adam
Re: PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
Finally the interior is finished, Seatbelts were made from masking tape and painted, the buckles are from Detailmaster, I tried to keep the dash looking as original as possible, hence the standard steering wheel. The monster tach is from the Parts Box painted up and epoxy used to over the gauge face, epoxy was also used over the dash gauger that were painted silver for something a bit more modern. The indicator stalk was made from wire with a dob of epoxy on the end.

I think that looks good - hard to tell because your photos are TOO SMALL! Can we get some bigger pics? Please...?

Re: PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
From what we can see it looks good. Have you used decals for the gauge faces & radio or are they painted?
Re: PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
Decals would of been heaps easier but they were all dry brushed, what a bastard!

Re: PRO STREET SUPER BEE In the showroom
Gday guys, the inner guards had a lot of molded on wiring and a recess for the battery, but wanted to go for a smooth look so all wiring was sanded and the recess puttied up and primed, the motor just sitting in there to make sure that it clears all, so now time for paint!!!!!
