69 Camaro

Here is one that I just built its a AMT 69 Camaro.

This kit is probably one of the worst it has been my misfortune to build.

Thanks ourcirus ,zenrat, its only just got built as its a pig of a kit to build have another one in my stash of kits, body colour is Tamiya X-7 red,inside is the new italeri acrylic paint range. flat light brown and flat US army/mar. gulf arm sand. engine colour is a orange that I mixed up. still got to put in rear lights and bumper bar.

Nice job Allan, great paint work on both the interior and exterior mate.

Silverfox looked at the grill and tried to black wash it but no luck as its to shallow to hold the paint so we came up with another idea for it, will post photos over the weekend sometime.

try using humbrol flat black and wipe with fingertip while its still wet, should remove paint from high points and leave black in all the holes

silverfox tried that but did not work. Even tried cotton bud to wipe it off no luck.

Done and dusted.

This came up nice Al , now get into some more .
