Re: tail lights
i have something called Micro Kristal Klear made by microscale industries, its intended for use to make clear windows (small) or as a cement for clear parts, looks very similar to PVA and dries clear, i would also try liquid cement, place the lens where its intended to sit and then add a small drop of cement to the join, it has the consistancy of water and will follow the join. hope this helps

Re: tail lights
I have just tryed Bondcrete, as my Micro Kristal Klear had dryed up, it's like woodglue, but I think it has resin or something in it as it sets harder that woodglue, not sure if it will discolour over time, I'll see over time.

Re: tail lights
Gluing the "Glass" has been one of the let downs in building when you are starting out. I use a Testors product which is packaged for gluing windows. However you can use PVA glue or any glue that dries clear. I have even used gloss clear enamel. Never use super glue as it is just too risky as it will fog your glass if you apply too much. Regular model glue if not used sparingly may leave marks. Find what works for you and perfect that gluing technique. i hope I've helped.

Re: tail lights
Use less glue?
The Testors window glue should be OK but try to use as little as possible. I put it on with the tip of a toothpick and try to get it only on the edges.
