Re: XB Falcon
XB is one of my favourites , but my choice was the four door, I nearly bought a 351 GT back in the 70's, but now I have The Parts Box XB Sedan version. What chassis came with your Hardtop dv8v8? I was going to use a Mustang chassis but found wheelbase too long-68 Falcon chassis/kit would be right size, but they have been out of production for a long time ? By the way , that Coupe is looking good, nice work!
Cheers Ron.

Re: XB Falcon
the chassis that came with the kit fits very well but is also pretty basic, all the detail including the bottom of the engine is molded in place, and it has a bloody great slot running up the middle like all the other ADR/Cavalier kits, if i was gunna open the bonnet i would probably look for a new chassis but as im building this one out of the box (curbside) i will go with the chassis supplied, it means a lot less mucking around

Re: XB Falcon
Maybe Shawn will mold you up chassis from the XE and you could adapt it to fit.dv8v8 wrote:the chassis that came with the kit fits very well but is also pretty basic, all the detail including the bottom of the engine is molded in place, and it has a bloody great slot running up the middle like all the other ADR/Cavalier kits, if i was gunna open the bonnet i would probably look for a new chassis but as im building this one out of the box (curbside) i will go with the chassis supplied, it means a lot less mucking around
