Re: 4 X 4 Falcon
I like where this is going DV8
Ford should have made them, maybe they'd still be doing a roaring trade if they'd gone down this avenue all those years ago .... think tradies ute and think how well a GT ute would sell!!

Re: 4 X 4 Falcon
been a bit slow with this one, theres lotsa stuff i gotta figure out and for each solution there seems to be 2 more problems! started on the bodywork and got the engine in the chassis, but the hole in the bonnet doesnt line up with the shaker, so the shaker has been repositioned a bit further forward than usual but as these things were never fitted with a V8 from the factory im gunna say this is how they would have done it!

Looking good, what are the tyres off look like sand racer ones. The firestone's off the amt 1978 ford 4x4 might be better.

Re: 4 X 4 Falcon
Excellent. Great to see a Falcon Ute. I have been using them to haul bikes since 1984. An XC, then a XD followed by an XF. In early 99 the AU's arrived here in NZ - Not liking the look of the AU I brought one of the last XH models new and still have it now. Not quite 40,000 km on it as not used a lot in recent years but the rust is starting to pop out everywhere on it now....Bugger !
Sorry .... back to your ute, looking forward to see how this turns out.
