tommy ivo rail
this was a pain to build
at the end l just wanted to finish it up and put it on the shelf
l did omit some details
diecast front tires and rims and parts box rear tires and rims
basic detail on the motor (l was doing to detail it more )
parts box pipes (the ones in the kit are a nightmare )
now onto something fun and simple
thanks for looking

Re: tommy ivo rail
Looks good to me.
Apart from the pipes what other problems were there?

Re: tommy ivo rail
Bloody top job mate !!!!! Better check that belt alignment because as soon as you start the motor she's gona throw the belt .
Re: tommy ivo rail
Great work mate, and a top job on the engine detail too. Looks sweet.

l am just glad l finshed instead of puttting it on the back burner
Fred some of the things that gave me trouble were the two radius rods and the steering arm
were to short
the engine would not fit the clutch housing
the frame was warped (you can tell by one of the photos looks like it's launching)
also the chute has no pin so you have to careful or you will lose the chutte in the body work
and roll bar was to big to fit in the body
also the top of the body is slightly bigger than the bottom
if you intend to build l would suggest you do a lot of test fitting
Looks good to me.

the color is from one of those $2.50 export paints from the $2.00 shop that l shot thru the airbrush
it has a white base coat that really made the orange pop
