Little Caesars Purple Pizza
This body has been around forever with it painted inside but nothing was happening to the exterior. With decent weather here and plenty of spare time with the family OS visiting relatives i could not resist. So here si the start to what will eventually be the #37 Kranefuss Haas John Andretti driven Thunderbird. I have the UP Scale decals so i hope they have held up and this should be a no issue build. My DOT car has priority but this will be a good one on the side.

Re: Little Caesars Purple Pizza
Well i bought a sheet of the Slixx decals for this car, they say the full interior and cage should be orange.....hmmmm then to really make it more confusing between them and Up Scale Slixx are saying the purple should be a metallic finish. Anyone think it was metallic?
Well i have tried the Slixx sheet and they have behaved so far, I have gone with the white version minus the fluro stripes, i certainly wont get too excited just yet but there was no issues with them wanting to shatter etc. I did however get off to a bad start by applying the Little Caesar logo along with the red K, so i had to lift the decal and cut the red one out and apply the white K....

Looking real nice , a lot of race cars ( inc. nascar ) are reds , whites , blacks etc., when you put a build like this colour in the model cabinet it really stands out . Look forward to seeing more of this .

That is looking good mate, doubt if it was metallic though, pearl maybe, metal flakes weigh a fair bit you know.

Re: Little Caesars Purple Pizza
Funny how when it is hard to find time to do any modelling the smallest things make you happy. I managed to get some model time to get some more decals on, with all the mayhem that goes on in our place now it is so hard to have a quiet moment to lay down decals. I admit when it comes to decaling a model I like my space, quiet with no one asking can you look at this, or a crying little man. So when the wife and little fella went out to do some shopping I jumped at the chance to get the decals started again, worst part was I had an issue with the roof number and with the time spent trying to save it I did not get all the decals on prior to the chaos returning home…..lol
So this is where I am at right now, I still need to give the sides a good wash but this can wait till all decals are on, and yes you may notice I did not save the roof number hence its absence, luckily a really good guy has come to my aid and there is one on its way to me….
So till the next time I get the house to myself this is where I am for now.
