Yeah it is an auto, and thats where it is. Very comfy to use. Most of our trucks are 18 speeds with only the Volvos and the shitbox DAF having autos. But now I was told that any new trucks will be automatics. Must be too many drivers that don't know how to change gears properly.

All I know about trucks is they are big and noisy and you can get their drivers to try to do anything if you question their abilities.
"i'd ask you to tip the trailer over there and then put the truck next to it but you wouldn't be able to do it..."

Oh, and the drivers get pi##ed off if they lose a mudflap and love you if you dig it out for them.

This looks very good.

i dont get annoyed when i lose a mudflap but the blokes in the workshop do seem to get a bit angry!

It probably depends on how  much of the mudguard, taillights and mounting bracket goes with the flap!

on one memorable occasion everything back to the chassis on both sides on a brand new truck! dont understand why the blokes in the workshop always seem to be busy and have to rush off somewhere else whenever i go there

Thanks everyone. Looking at the photos of this model make me miss driving the old girl. Work got rid of this truck, they sent it over to WA to pull road trains, and I ended up up with a new Mack Granite day cab. While it's nice and new that's about all that is good about it. Rough as guts and a auto similar to the Volvo, but no where near as smart. Tiny little cab and less Horsepower. I loved the Volvo.
