Pontiac Firebird 1997 (First Build)

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by, my first ever build was a yellow Ford Bronco with bigfoot wheels at age 9, with just glue and no paint, decals were put with cold water and they ended really ugly, the thing was "missing in action" so this is my "first complete build ever" this Firebird is the one I threasure more than any of the other models I´ve ever painted, it has a loooooot of mistakes, but it reminds me of how much fun I had when I started with this, it´s been 14 years since then, hope you like it and critics are welcome, I need to find a photo that I took of it when I was building it but it was taken with an "ancient" camera so I have to find it somewhere between all of my stuff, the chasis is badly painted because someone was "nice" enough to lift it while the paint was fresh and it had fingerprints on the sides, it has a drop of thinner on the upper right corner of the windshield, it has another inside the trunk, all of the "small" areas were hand painted and the rest with spraycans, the red details on the interior were inspired from a modified corvette I saw back then, I featured the lighter on the dashboard but when I took those photos I wasn´t able to make it visible, I might take some more pictures to allow you guys see it, I painted the rear "pontiac" letters on black with a needle but I had to make correction cause I couldn´t get them right, the red tail lights were painted in red but I scratched the inside of the clear piece so that it allowed me to paint the black line from the inside, and underneath it it´s a horror story I painted it all by hand and it´s really bad painted, I didn´t took a shot but believe me it´s ugly:

I really like it. I have seen a LOT worse built by folks who have many builds under their belts.
Its nice to see the guys who build there models 'perfect' but I also like the 'first builds'- they have a kind of appeal to me.

Anyway hope to see more from you. I give it a thumbs up!
