Re: DODGE DART
I like what you have done to a point,
the paint looks great, nice details with opening the boot and adding fuel cell etc,
engine is very well done, nicely detailed, but i am sorry , those wheels are just way too big for it
to sit like that, maybe if you got them tucked up inside, but that is a lot of work too
look forward to your next build, as everything else about the build etc looks great.

Re: DODGE DART
Overall you've built a great looking Dodge, colour & detail
looks awesome mate!. The wheels, however make it look almost
like a 4WD. I too, will look forward to your next build.

Re: DODGE DART
For your first car model, that's pretty impressive, but like the others have said give those wheels the flick
One thing I will ad is the window trim, buy some bare metal foil for the trim etc, it's really good stuff, takes a bit of pratice and the results give the model a more realistic look
Cheers
Ray
Ps nice work on the figures!

Dodge Dart
Hey thanks guys ...yeah it does need BMF on the trims etc. but have never played with the stuff before... Has someone posted a how too on this?
i went into the local hobby shop as i was building the Dart and they said they had run out and was on back order so it never happened on this build.
But there is a fair bit i have yet to learn from this awsome AAMB FORUM so i will take it all on board.
At best i might make nice model. At worst i could end up with a box of spare parts for another build.
Cheers

Re: DODGE DART
Nice big Tiger,
I've got a 1/24th Tiger waiting to be re-built, a 35th Tiger with int and multiple additions and a 72nd one as well .. closet track head.
I love the colour of the Dart too, just needed those monster rims tucked under the guards a bit I reckon.

Re: DODGE DART
Thanks guys ...Havent seen Fury yet!!... but is on the list...a lot of work on has gone into the Tiger cause its so Big things like shading, weathering and detailing is so much harder because it has to be done with more finese as it can look out of scale.
( yeah i am a bit of a track head as well )
But have 1:1 XE V8 falcon thats a project car i am rebuilding and a 1100cc Caf'e racer (not my ZX1100) that is nearly finished just "paint and electrics"...in my man cave
(so i am a "Rev Head" as well)
It must be really hard for those guys on this forum who have mastered the 1/8th 1/6th scale car and enginges etc. as any flaws will stand out like crazy!!
i am still in awe of the workmanship and quality of all the models on this forum
