Should leave it at one or the other (there'll be more than enough others in the rest of the categories anyway), Mack alone opens it up to the cruiseliners, superliners, R bangers, then all the aftermarket ones, Trident, Titan, B model, M series, fire trucks etc etc...
Although, with the option of the Renault, I guess you could build a Renault Magnum and put Mack badges on it (same truck after all)...
Now I've just got to get one of the Mack's finished, I have a tri drive Trident on the bench, an RM6866RS that is still in the very early scratchbuilding stages, and a Superliner stashed away too.

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
It will have to stay as both, some people have started Renault models already.
I need to clear out some of my unfinished models before I even start looking at starting a Truck, lol

Seeing as the poster was released over a month ago, and it only said Mack, and you only announced 3 days ago that it is Renault also, then they started working on the wrong trucks
I certainly hope this isn't going to be a repeat of the recent Illawarra model show, kit models being entered into (and winning) the scratchbuilt category, a ute winning the truck category, planes winning categories for the wrong years etc...

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
We did mention both at the show, (which is why some people have stated already) but when I made the poster I neglected to add the Renault, and it's for both so no mater what brand they make Mack or Renault, they can go into the muster.
And if you see anything in the wrong category let the club know as soon as possible, ans we will look into it.

1/24 & 1/25 trucks, rarely out of the box. I'll have a 1/25 Demag AC665 crane on display at the show that was entirely scratchbuilt, as well as a K104 (Auslowe conversion) and a Harley Davidson edition Lonestar Wrecker that was a combination of kit bashing and scratchbuilding...
I just need to find time to finish either my Mack RM6866RS (one of the Army's wreckers) or the Mack Trident that I've got partially started...

Hey Dion, if I ever manage to finish the recycled Mack, will it be eligible for the Mack muster?

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
Its a die cast kit meant for model train people . Its an ulrich kit and you have to file the burs off and then you build and paint the trucks . Google them and see the different ones .

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
God people whinge about shows and catagories, they should try organising and running a show if it's so easy to do and get perfect.
Who cares the social side of it and checking out each others plastic crap is the highlight of any show in my opinion.
Hopefully we'll be there, health permitting and might even have a Mack built for it.
