Totally agree Rob, the social part of it is what it's all about.
The part I especially enjoy is "verbally jousting" with----------- "the one"----------- who can't help himself.

Ease up Scummy, just because we call you an idiot doesn't mean you have to accept the label.

Get the whips cracking and get the club members on the job Dion, surely if everyone helped you'd do it easily. Previously at our show I've donated stuff from my stash just to make it happen and if all the club members get behind it surely you can come up with a few extras mate.

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
Was entertaining the idea of coming down to Wagga for the show, but since I haven't finished anything and haven,t got my full confidence to travel that far yet, and I'm currently dealing with a torn shoulder tendon--driving for 5or so hours won't help that, but it would be nice to catch up with everyone, since the Tumut NNL , about 3 or so years ago( although caught up with Rob/ Checkmate at Bathurst Van Nationals--- and compared scar treatments-Robs is better than mine- Wow.

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
I thought it was another good show. Seemed to be a little less on the table this year but as Checkers wasn't there, that could be the explanation. A few less familiar faces too as well as some new ones. Ignoring the fact I won a category, I thought the judges also did pretty well. Hopefully it continues to go well for the club. Next question is, what to build for the International muster next year??? Bet Auslowes wished they'd announced the theme before they packed up those new S3600? bonnets. Finding something different to the Prostars and Transtars could be tricky.

Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
Yep , it's gona be a transtar feast i think . Its a limited subject , i gota pull out a truck i started way back in the 70's .
Re: 2015 Wagga Show Poster
Yep a Transtar feast Scummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't worry about what you built way back in the 70's, ya gotta learn to start living in the current times!!!!!!!!!
I reckon this could finally be the time that you'll be able pull your ------you know what --------------out of your "proverbial" and build a ----dare I say it???????????? a Lonestar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have to say I had a great time at Wagga, thoroughly enjoyable, even if I did have to share in the company of a certain person and listen to him moan on about various irrelevant topics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
However I must say it was a pleasure to sit next to -----the same person----- at dinner, and was most surprised when invited to share a piece of "Sweet and Sour Pork" from his plate. Hopefully one day I'll be be able to return the favor.
