1967 Chevy Impala Pro Street
New project for me. Some kind of a merger between these two:
Had the '67 Chevy Impala kit for quite some time and always had the urge to stick a set of wheel tubs under that big rear, so picked up a '67 Chevelle Pro Street kit from Autochamps on Saturday and started cutting last night.
Had to cut off the rear of the Impala floor pan and graft on the back half of the Chevelle chassis with wheel tubs. Also need to extend the rear as the Impala has quite a bit longer wheel base.
A quick mock-up for kicks:
Pretty happy with how easily this is going so far...
Yet to see if the back seat still fits though...

Nice work so far, you are the king of "cut and shut"
will be keeping an eye on this one. I built one of these a while ago, it was parked under my house diorama. I forgot it was there when I painted the white posts, it got covered in over spray. Bugger!
