1967 Mustang Street Machine
Hi again
This is the AMT Fast and Furious Mustang Fastback kit finished around three years ago.
Built pretty much box stock except for the wheels that came from an Aoshima EVO Lancer kit, the seats, scratch built roll cage and the old school air filter from the 1970 Pro Street Super Bee kit.
This was an awesome kit to build and it didn't take too much self persuasion to steer clear of the skyline motor. I still can't get over the fact that a movie production crew chopped up a classic muscle car to build a drifter.
Paint is Tamiya TS54 Light Metallic Blue and masked stripes in Tamiya TS26 Pure White. The chassis is the same blue with the suspension detailed in black and grey and the driveline is painted in gunmetal grey. The Interior is a gloss grey with the dash, console and steering wheel detailed.
There are a few little things that I need to fix on this one, like, wire the engine, add some photoetch brakes and I might just re do the boot area as there is a panel missing and I am thinking about dropping in a fuel cell or an amp and some speakers. I will decide when its apart, if I ever get around to it. The interior definately needs a hit of flat clear spray as it is a bit shiny at the moment.
I hope you like it.

Re: 1967 Mustang Street Machine
Those fastbacks had style didn't they? I like your attention to detail painting, especially in the engine dept. Nice model!

Re: 1967 Mustang Street Machine
Nice build.
That blue really goes well with the chrome & white.
I'd find it hard NOT to use the Skyline donk.
You might consider a light wash of something like thinned Smoke on the grille emblem to really bring out the horsey worsey...
