65 pontiac Bonneville
this is AMT's 65 Bonneville, its a pretty old kit and not up to the standards of todays kits but it still makes a nice model, interior is stock with carpet added, the wheels are from Pegasus, and the engine has had a few mods as well as wiring added, color is Tamiya pearl white and its been lowered as much as I could

Re: 65 pontiac Bonneville
Very nice build. I want a 1:1 of these. Always loved big yank tank boats. I went for a ride in my uncles brand new bonnie way back when ...fell in love then and there.
Love what you have done with this.

That is just GORGEOUS mate, the white and red go perfectly together, and i really like your wheel choice too.
There is nothing i don't like about it.

Nice one mate, that's a big a..s kit too
Hard to tell the Tamiya Pearl white, see how it goes with an outside pic?
I'm planning on using this colour on a JoHan 64 Caddy
Cheers

Good luck finding one, they are rare as rocking horse poop.baZOOKa wrote:Very nice build. I want a 1:1 of these.
Mrs Carps had one as her daily driver for quite a few years before it became a problem due to the needs of our our baby daughter.
Because I had nowhere to store it I sold iot rather than let it deteriorate.
Whish I hadn't, because the guy whou paid me a mountain of money to own it, then ruined it by pulling the 421 tri power engine to install in a Parrisienne Convert he had.
Think he also used the 8 lug wheel on that car.
I saw it many years later and the interior was gone (it was mint), it had a SBC engine in it, plain black steel wheels and the body needed some serious help.
I saw it again a few years after that and the new owner was in the process of a very expensive restoration and having difficulty finding all the bits to make it right again.
BTW, the interior pic above doesn't look like the right one, dash appears to be a Ford, definitely not '65 Bonny.
