Old build - New pics. 1960 Pontiac Bonneville.
Pulled this out from the case and was shocked at how it's deteriorated over 4 years.
Doesn't look too bad though. Sorta like a survivor driver.
First pic is when it was built. The rest are now.
The original Trumpeter chrome is fine. It's the BMF that has tarnished.
The colour change (original colours were Tamiya Candy Lime Green and Pearl White) is due to yellowing of the Aussie Export enamel clear gloss. It's also lost it's shine and now has a slightly mottled satin/flat look.
This has been stored in a sealed display cabinet out of the sun in my shed.
And I still hate those wheels...

Why would you spend good money on Tamiya spray cans and cover it with $2 clear...?
