Old build - New pics - 1965 Pontiac 2+2
Very old build this one - about 5 years.
I was thoroughly disapointed by the kit and just slung it together with the only mod being to lower it.
I hadn't learnt the white wash on the headlights trick or how to deal with mould separation lines on chrome or about BMF.
Paint was oringinally satin but has dulled to flat. Chrome has a black wash over it to make it look aged.

Oooh yeah - what a great looking car. It actually looks really good in flat black. I wouldn't change a thing.
Would love to get my hands on one of those - what brand is the kit?

Thanks folks.
I think I nailed the look (more by luck than judgement). I just wish i'd spent more time on it and that it was a better kit.
It's a typical AMT ex-promo Bryce. Axle through the engine, all moulded in one chassis, dates moulded into the No. plates and a pretty good body.
