The cleanup....If you want kits...FOLLOW THIS>
Because I had more time to finish the Walkdens 650, I decided to Build another, I hadn't built a 4070A for...years, so I pulled one out of the bin.
(10 4070A's) +1 NIB, + 2 4070B NIB
So pushed stuff back to make room, Clean up a bit. Logical thing to do, so I started to sort stuff off the bench, to put it out in the adjoing space.
cab overs
Conventionals
So filled the bookcase. And started to sort the work space, trying to see where I stood after 40 years doing this stuff. Andrew was there to give advice.
Andrew, found him when he was injured, been a great companion for 2 years.
Kits found under the bench
Keep in mind I have been buying wrecks, and kits for years, have not opened a new kit (except to store the decals) for decades.
Found the 9000 truck & dog, the paystar, kw alaskan, and the first mack I ever buit, all out of box.
Canape KW's 4, 2 NIB.
GMC Astro's 3, salvage 2 new.
AMT aerodynes, 3; + 2 Pappa trucks.
D8 dozers, 3 + 1 or 2 in box (haven't got to them yet)
Peterbilt C/Overs 8 (2 new)
K123 5, + 3 NIB
W925..20.....Sold 2 NIB (moving on) last week
The starts of SAR's..3, different box to W models
Another 20 w models, SAR box on right.
Whites, 4...sold 2 NIB last week.
F12 volvos, 2 (+ 1 NIB)
Autocars..2
LNT's 4 + 3 NIB, including tipper/snow plough.
7..8 1:32 kits.....all I wanted were the wheels, for low loader or drop deck....FREE TO GOOD HOME.
Fuel tanks....about 8/10 turned aluminium, never used.
That was just tidying up the work area.
The cache of kits.
Near the door.
One corner, ALL cars, 3 deep..Box on bottom = 1/2 collectible diecast
The other side: behind the couch..... 3 rows deep ...full, trucks, cars.
I will be pulling everything out and doing banks of photos,
I admire what you blokes do, I used to finish stuff, but you have to take stock, and see what's plausible: and what's not.i have bought everything you see over too many years, because I thought/wanted to build then. (I have sold 34 old AMT truck kits on Ebay last week).
But I've got to be realistic.
Majority I have to get rid of, probably the wrong place to post......tell some one, get them to have a look better to go to you blokes, initially.
Any way, will sort and post on trade/sell first then Ebay.
More photos to come.
Cheers
