Just dicking around in the shed this morning waiting for it to warm up a bit, to paint some cabs. Cruiseliner had been sitting around for zonks. So this is it's build.

The background says, it is at "home" in diamond creek.....so 10 - 12 years ago. The cab is AMT, right shape, wrong everything else, I had cut the doors, and headlights.

So Boxed in the front, to suit aust grill, Bench says this is at Portland.

Made the dash, and interior                                                                                                                     Made the grill, boxed in the headlights etc

Made the visor                                                                                                                                              Put it on it's feet

Made the tanks, did the plumbing                                                                                                                    Made the bullbar, hinged the doors

Then mocked it up, to see how it was looking.
I was thinking, I mainly do 70's...80's vehicles, and mudgaurds had not been a problem, and thought about putting gaurds on some..the 108 etc. I browsed the net, and gaurds are costing ~$20 for 4...so I was looking at maybe...$100+ for what I needed
Toyed with the idea of rolling sheet and building from scratch...just dicking around at paint booth....???

Cut the lid, scribed the top out, and its ribbed internally

Did some ribbing to see how it would go.

Cheers
