G'day,
It seems I fiddled around enough (4 and a half years) and now I consider this build 'done'. The last touches were the windshield wipers, which I almost forgot... My recipe for nice wiper BTW: skim (or skin) a piece of plug wire on one side, so you have the metal inside exposed. Cut to length, and glue to wiper arm with epoxy. The wiper arm s are just paper clip filed to shape. Easy...
And of course I just HAD to build a mirror case to show off the chassis detail.
