Just registered after lurking a bit.

Built my first car model as a kid living in Europe - was a Monogram Green Hornet......it was a brand "new" kit back then in that time.
Arrived back in the States while the whole gasser wars thing was going on.
Loved all the show and go kits, spent many a day and dollar dabbling with it...actually got to meet Mr. Ed 'Big Daddy" Roth and George Barris over the years.

Back then I had all the time in the world for the hobby - but no money.
Now I got money for the hobby - but no time. Smile LOL.

Anyway....glad to meet you guys from down under...you all like hot rods and surfing - so you are distant brothers and its great to drop in.

Hey Bro. Same story here. But mine was the Monogram Black Widow. Loved the Revell show and go kits as well back then, but they didn't go together that well. The Monogram Little Twas also a favorite. Remember when we won 2nd place Jr division trophy for our collaboration on the Little T we painted lime gold metal flake? It was a clean build. With the wide whites and white interior it looked pretty sharp.

Yeah...so what have you done lately?
Think you can handle those Revell kit fiddly bits now? LOL. Laughing

Yes...that's for sure.
I do enjoy researching the details - even when I don't finish a project.
