New member, First post & first car model, hope this works out??
My first car model, a 1/24 scale Fujumi 80 series Landcruiser Wagon, which Shoey threw at me when he opened the box after buying it. Of course after pinching the wheels for the tray back, and after changing his mind 15 times he gave them back .
Normally build 1/35 modern military vehicles and 1/48 modern aircraft. I had to scratch a bull bar because they too sooky without them this was my 1st real attempt at scratching anything major. A tow bar is in production also. Anyway here we go,
And here is what I normally build:
P.S. I hope this post works.
Thanks for checking it out,
Ben.

Your first car seems to be coming along very smoothly. I like the scratchbuilt bull bar - interesting how it's made in sections (or looks that way)?
"Barge Arse" looks very nice too - easy to spot Shoey's influence.

Re: New member, First post & first car model, hope this works out??
great work so far if Shoey wants his rims back tell him to call me I have a set from the Tamiya kit in the parts box. The Aussie lav looks great is that one from the last Mackey comp or a new one I am doing an Aussie M88A2 at the moment but we talk about it to much as it does not have tires. LOL

Small update, slow progress
I've got to many models on the go. I didn't really like the number plate holder so I have drilled it out and am trying to fill the gap back in now.
This was it B4
And this is it at the moment.
And the interior, as poxy as it is
Thanks for looking.

Righto, I'm working on this piece of crap again.
I'm pretty sick of sanding the back doors to get it smooth so I'm leaving it the way it is, but I've been playing with some newly purchased Alclad, Pollished Aluminiun and Chrome, So what better to test it out on then this Cruiser that's been stitting stagnant on the bench for, lets say, a very long time.
Only a few pics on the up date, but atleast I'm 1/2 keen again. Next time I do car, I'm going to paint it how a military model builder would, buy building most of it 1st and then painting and masking. I didn't enjoy the painting the base coat then gloss clearing, I've had trouble doing the finer painting afterwards. Anyway I hope I get this finished soon.
Thanks,
Ben.
