1962 Pontiac Empty 1962 Pontiac

Post by Bryce Sat 01 Nov 2008, 2:05 pm

My ol' man dropped around today with his latest toy, so I took a few pics as I thought some of you might be interested. It's a 1962 Pontiac pillarless sedan that he has rebuilt from the ground up. It's been airbagged and runs a small block crate motor packing 420 odd horsepower.

Thanks guys - it was a lot of fun driving this around in the sun today!

Colour is Hyper Yellow - it's a Holden colour off the VT/VY range...

Wheels are Twisted Vistas - 19s & 20s. I should have taken some photos with the airbags down - it looks real cool! Very Happy

We can go cruising anytime you like Paul - as long as you pay for petrol - this thing sure can drink! Very Happy

He also has a '64 Pontiac Parisienne that was restored about 15 years ago and this '59 Bonneville currently under construction:

Nice Poncho, you and your dad should bring it to Phillip Island in Jan for the Kustom Nats.

The '59 Bonne looks pretty kool, one of the cars I never should have sold was our '65 Bonneville.
