Volvo 240T triple build

Hi guys.
Just finished these this week. I figured that I was only ever going to build 3 Volvo 240T kits in my lifetime so I decided to do them all at once.
The first one is Robbie Francevic's 1986 Australian Touring Car Championship winner. Scale Production wheels + tyres and decals by SK decals. I converted it to RHD with my own dash. I made the dash by making 4 resin copies of the kit LH dash and chopping them into sections and re-assembling the parts into RHD.








The next one is Robbie Francevic's 1985 Tasmanian race winner. I made my own decals for this one and painted the stripes. I also made a new fuel tank and relocated the rear airjacks to to the back of the car. Scale production wheels + tyres and mirrors.





The final one finished is the early 1986 LHD version also a Tasmanian race winner. My own decals and Scale Production wheels and tyres. No major mods.






A harmless kit that I can recommend but I'm glad that they are over and done with as the Scale production wheels weren't a straight swap so a bit of fart-arseing was required to get them right.

The SK decals are great. No real issues but as with any decals you'll have to bring your 'A' game to get them to conform around those huge rear wheel arches.

great work, Valvoline car is a favorite. Brings back memories that was a quick Volvo !
