"LONG TALL SALLY"
I started this build back in 2016, and almost had it finished when I had my heart attack. Then after going through depression I lost interest in building models
until earlier this year. "YB" (newbie) posted a comment recently on Paul's Tall T model "Blue Suede Shoe" and this prompted me to finally put the finishing touches
to "Long Tall Sally". What I did yesterday: fitted plug leads, door handles, side mirror, number plates, radiator cap (wheel spinner) and "weathered" exhaust headers.
What I did with this build in 2016:
Cab was widened 8mm (5/16") to accommodate 2 bucket seats, and fitted with '32 rear guards. A '32 dash was converted to R/H drive and fitted.
Square rear window was filled was plastic card and an oval shape cut out. Rear glass and windscreen were cut from CD case. Radiator hose is a Guitar string.
Waiting on some pinstriping and scrolls decals to decorate her.
Anyway enough "waffle" .... here's "Long Tall Sally"...
Thanks for looking in and I'm happy to be back. Jezza

Hi Jezza. I agree with the others....very cool 'T' I also strayed from modelling due to illness, but models like yours have rekindled an interest. Not building at the moment, but who knows.
Keep up the good work mate!

Re: "LONG TALL SALLY"
Hey Jezza. Love the build. I've never tried a hotrod, worked on a couple though. Have to get some tips on how you do your filler and primer. Just started playing around with tamiya spray cans. It's nothing like automotive paint.
