I hate Rat Rods which is why i've never built one.

Until now.  I used nothing that wasn't in the box other than glue, paint and plug wires.
FWIW I still hate them.

Whether you like them or not, I think you should build more of them. I personally like rat rods and yours looks great. I like that it's not chopped like most of them are, yours is kind of quirky which is cool. The exposed wooden roof looks fantastic, I'm gunna try that trick!

I couldn't get any enthusiasm for a shiney one without breaking the rules of the competition.  There was so much I wanted to change.

Fred, it appears you'vebecome a bit rustly in recent times.   

Not really my cup of tea either, but it's good to see one that doesn't have shiny matching rims or a gleaming engine as the 1:1's seem to have. Roof was well done too

If you could peer in the window Bear you'd see the fuel tank is shiny.  But that and the radiator cap thingo are all.
