65 CHEVELLE Pro-touring!!
i will add this!! it is suppose to be kind-of a quick build, a fill in build between the full race chevelle and my prostreet duster, but i always seem to have a hard time making something simple so i will have to wait and see where this one leads me!! i started by fitting the wheels and lowering the front as well cutting the rearend all apart and narrowing it some!! i dremeled out the wheel wells to give me a little more clearance for the 23's in the rear and now need to fill the holes!!! i havent decided on the engine yet, as far as going fuel injected or just an updated bigblock with a single dominator carb!! in these pics i have a resin outlaw hood on it, but i am going to take this off and graft in the cowl hood from the 69 nova!!! the outlaw hood will go on my 65 full race chevelle!! i think i might open the trunk to show a fuel cell and battery and a nitrious bottle, which will mean i will need to cut the stock fuel tank out!! see what i mean?? when i get going i get out of hand!! lol!! well here is some pics!!

Re: 65 CHEVELLE Pro-touring!!
thanks dwayne, tryin to plug away at them!! well i think i decided on colors!! looks like a silver frost for main body color and then a metallic gunmetal grey for the ss stripes the bumpers and the spokes in the wheels!! and then i will carry that color scheme into the engine compartment!! here is the block and tranny with the silver frost and the valve covers, oil pan, waterpump with the gunmetal!! and the heads are just straight aluminium!!!

Re: 65 CHEVELLE Pro-touring!!
Nice. Not sure if carbon fibre would suit the style of this build though.

Re: 65 CHEVELLE Pro-touring!!
yep, no CF guys!!
Ok, the 3rd color is on and all that is left for the interior is alot of detail painting, the photo-etched parts to be added and i think a small 4 to 6 point roll bar!!
