'66 Pro Touring Mustang
Here's the Build (Almost complete) of my '66 Mix 'n' Match Shelby GT 350 and Ford Factory '66 Fastbacks.
With some other parts thrown in along the way.
Pics:
I Started with this. A Smoothed, silver painted GT 350 shell, with the Shelby hood - It sat like this for about 2 months. Until I went and bought a Tamiya R34 GTR Skyline.
Which gave me these. Painted the wheels gloss black, and chucked the R34 disc and calipers behind them.
I then Painted and Detailed the Shelby Gauges...
Assembled and painted the Donk. (I will wire it... eventually.)
Used the R34 Bucket seats, fitted quite well.. especially being 1/24th.. in a 1/25th car. Not that big a difference, but nitpickers notice it - being the seats look slightly too big.
Uh oh...
There's no detail.
CALL THE STANCE PATROL! A little bit of cutting here and there... Like half the rear wheels to get them to fit. lol - good thing she's an engine and exterior display model - when I crack perfect Subframes - I shall rectify these issues.
Little interior shot.
Bit low in the front - Ideally the rear would be this low too - but those GTR wheels are quite large... Oh yeah, I took a shot at detailing tyres while I was at it.
Can't say no to that Pretty face? Eventually the engine bay will be schmik and full of random stuff. Ok - not so random.. but at least it wont look like a Pinto Motor anymore.
I'll clean up the slight paint issues on the seats... eventually.
Another Interior shot.
More pics will come when I detail the engine bay, and add the lower lights front and rear.
But for now she's taking a back burner while I slowly assemble this GTX that I stuffed up.

Re: '66 Pro Touring Mustang
Thanks guys - Pity they don't make Aussie Car models in Large Numbers.
:-(
It wouldn't be Mustangs I'd be building then. haha.
And I wouldn't need Jap Tuner Donor parts!
