What a beaut tribute you've created here. That was a sad day indeed and your dio pays homage to all those people that suffered it. It's almost a work of sculptured art rather than a model.

Yes I agree. I had build this 2 years after the attack and I post it in Modelcarlist. There were some heavy reactions, but most people said thats a way to remember. It was important for me that a Guy from New York city who's sister was injured during that day, said well done.

Every time I post spictures of this diorama I have mixed feelings. Was it right to build it?

Yes, I think so, if you feel it's right and it means something to you and others, it doesn't matter what some may say. It doesn't matter whose side you are on; it happened, lives were lost and that won't change. It's a tribute to the lives lost and people injured, their families, and the people who witnessed it.
I think if it respects those people, it's a good thing.

Just thought I'd this one today

Just watching some of the 9/11 TV replays this morning made me choke up. To think such hatred in human beings can exist is beyond me. But there's always human resolve and fortitude to keep us going, and that's something that can't ever be taken away from the good people of this world.
