got scratches in the middle of the windscreen ..... yay...


anyway use tamiya finish polish, would fine polish be to course?
or any other ideas.

Toothpaste. Or I have sanded scratches out with 3600 grit

Sand with fine grit wet & dry used wet.
I go down to 2000.
It looks horrible but then clears up nicely when you polish with meguiars scratch X.

iagree meguires showroom shine works a treat aswell.

Main thing to remember is to support the "glass" properly as you polish it. It really sucks to get the scratch out and then crack the bloody thing.
Don't ask me how I know...
