For what it's worth I'll being going, already have the room booked. Just trying to cut my wife's list of things to see/do etc back to a realistic level. Might need to take two cars She's hoping to catch up with Mrs Checkmate, can't see much good coming out of that for Rob or myself...

Re: 30th Wagga & District Scale Model Show & Expo
Well g,day , i only got down on the sunday but it was a most enjoyable day to say . There was a great range of models and lots of friendly faces , the venue was a great choice especially since they got punted from the other hall . I think the club done a great job with getting the new hall at short notice and also arranging catering on the sunday as i heard that the cater's left them on the saturday afternoon to do some other function ? Anyway as soon as i get my butt into gear i'll put up some of the many photo's i took on the weekend ,congrats on the club for a show well done .
Re: 30th Wagga & District Scale Model Show & Expo
Here are a few photos from the Wagga model show. Not trying to steal Scummy's thunder so just a few, some won't download for some reason.
The KW is by my eldest boy and Ronnie did the Volvo. She picked up second place in the open section for it. Her brother wasn't real excited being topped by his sister on her first truck. She did the signwriting and murals freehand. Not sure where she gets it from.
The Western Star is based on the James Bond Universal Exports. It even has interior lighting with the battery and switch etc hidden under the container.
Same builder as the Star, only multi combination there.
These are the entries for the White muster. Next year is Mack and Renault, yes seriously Renault
Not hundreds there but what was there was pretty good.
Not 100% certain but think the orange and white cabover KW got best bobtail and truck of show.
Trucks in the Ladies section.

Going to have his work cut out there. The reason I got into earthmoving was the amount of spade work I did while we were dating. It seemed a shame to let all that experience go to waste!!!!
