1959-63 Rolls Royce Phantom V Park Ward

Will turn an old friction-toy into a curbside/semislammed model. Here's what I'll be using:

ON its guts with those wheels....... PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Wheel is finished, I had to reduce their width to make them fit the chosen tires.

The stock "chassieplate" has been slightly modified to accept the new Wheels:

Almost done with the right side body mods:

Found Another set of tires (with crappy, unusable Wheels) and will use them instead. I may be able to modify the wire-Wheels to match these tires...

I finally decided on Wheels for this build. Imagine these Wheels finished off with Three-blade knock-off spinners !

Have you thought about putting skirts on the back?

No skirts on this one, maybe on the next one I build.....

However, I wasn't really pleased with the look of the body compared to pic's of the real car. So, this evening I cut out about 4 mm in length behind the rear Wheels.

Now it looks just about the same as in this Picture (photoshopped)



The red lines show where I will either ADD plastic or take some material away.

Would look cool with the roof chopped a few inches..

Yeah, a chopped roof would certainly look awesome....however, this is originally supposed to resamble the limo of the British Royalties, and I'd like to keep up that appearance ! So, this one will NOT get a chop-job.  I do have quite a few more Rolls' in my collection and at least one of them WILL be chopped.
