Re: B 61 MACK
Thank's Kane,it does look OK as a small pumper truck, just picked up more paint today going to paint the back half dark green the same as the cab, then will paint both light red which will give me a rich blood red colour for a fire engine.

Re: B 61 MACK
Allen, I've given it some thought , seeing as you're struggling with concept idea's , I would propose purchacing the B61 of you ! This may clear your mind some. Just a thought, as I have had the dick'ns of a time trying to locate anyone who has one available for sale or just available full stop. Anyway I'll leave it with you. No pressure. cheer's John.

Re: B 61 MACK
Allan, Thank's for the head's up on scaleautomobilia. I've tried Him a while back , but he didn't have any in stock. I called him personally today and he has ordered sum from Jaymar, and waiting for them to turn up. He'll let me know when it happen's. As for the flatbed B61, go for it that one is my pick of all your concept's to-date. Cheer's John. :

Re: B 61 MACK
At the risk of crating more confusion, I reckon single drive prime mover, 44 gallon drum hung on the side as a long range fuel tank and an old spread axle bogie flat top trailer, tarp the front half, drums or something on the back. Trust me!

Deaf as, had thought of doing that but don't have the parts to do that, would have to buy more bits for it going to build my own chassis for it, still thinking on it what to do with it. Ya bazooka its has had more paint jobs the cat has lives, lol fingers crossed it will get built.

Re: B 61 MACK
As this is a old jaymar cab as its not going to come up to a show room finish will be building it as a old wreck one with a lot of weathered paint on it. Got two nice resin ones That I will be building up one as a single drive the other will be twin drive. Now to get out flat paints and dry pastels for this one.

Re: B 61 MACK
I like the tray top but the tow unit looks odd ? It looks cool but odd i duno what it is ?
Re: B 61 MACK
Ya scummy I been looking and thinking on it too, Think that the wheel base would be to short for a tow truck, A tray top would look better, will have to make a new one as the one in the photo is a bit narrow for the B61. How wide sould the tray be same as the back of the cab or as wide as the front guards.
