So, what's the plans for a powerplant kirk..? No thoughts yet.....or you gonna unveil it at QMHE...??
I might have to look into that Powerplus paint...I think my local Auto1 has it....Cheaper than hobby paint too I guess....
Don't forget to post a pic once she's polished out Tubbs..
Re: 58 Chev Sedan Delivery
After much thought, I've decided on a big block. I looked at a couple of late model injected motors but they were either too tall or didn't take my fancy. Even considered a 409 but nothing fitted the theme. Only problem is getting big block strackies (sorry extractors) my have to make some out of solder I think. Won't be much chrome, just a few little bits.
Yeah, depends on when I finish it, if it's close to QMHE I'll hold off showing finished oics I think....probably change my mind tho
That Powerplus is the same as Duplicolour, both made by Holts. I use scratch filler primer always, straight from the rattle can and if you find a colour you like in the can, use it. Don't forget, it sprays different to enamels. If you need any help, give me a holla.

Thanks for the offer but I had a look at some injections set ups that I have (all small block) but they would have been out of the bonnet and didn't look right but I know what I will be doing with Rocker covers, not sure about aircleaner but have ideas.
Got the disc brakes adapted (from the F&F Monte Carlo) to the stock diff and to the stock front, also got brake lines on the diff done, just got to do hand brake cables. Chassis has been smoothed too a degree and fuel tank moved and a custom one made and Alcladed. Was going to add fuel pump but going with the theme it will be hidden (it's there, honest ). Just got to do front brake lines and try and find something to make real springs for suspension.
I'll do some update pics soon.

Got this sucker polished out today, woohoo, didn't polish through anywhere. Also got front screen in without getting glue all over it. Got some pics of other bits that I have done as well.
And this will be ride height.
