Re: My Toys Past and present.
Just a change in circumstances and health means I may no longer be able to complete my intended rebuild on the old girl. Although I listed it on ebay it never reached it's reserve and Ive since had a tonne of phone calls but no ones yet come forward with the cash. So at present its still in my possesion for a little bit longer.Paul wrote:What's the G O Rob??

Rob! Thats hard to believe; selling Checkmate ? I guess you have your reasons / circumstances intervening . Thats tough if you have to surrender the old girl. Best of luck on the sale and I hope someone is out there with the dollars and the desire to retain it as it is.
Cheers Ron.

Re: My Toys Past and present.
The Holden with the 6 legged tiger was Alley Cat, my mate owns it, it'll be in the Street Machine in the next few issues. Have a look at www.majesticvanners.com if you want old van pics and info. Go to the Van Register section. And Alley Cats at the top of the page!

Looks like fun. I am waiting on a reconditioned block for the MG. It is being bored out and cleaned up. New internals are coming. Hopefully it will be on the road again by February. It could make the run to Tumut...though the women will have to pack light if we take the MG.
